Welcome to Woodlands Small Wildlife Rescue

Here at Woodlands Small Wildlife Rescue we have a mission to rescue injured or orphaned small wild animals and birds. We hope to rehabilitate and release them (where possible) back into the wild. Occasionally we also offer sanctuary for some animals and work along side other rehabbers across the country to ensure they receive the best care possible and find new loving homes. We receive no government funding and rely solely on the generosity of our followers and the public. We are passionate about working with the community too, so every month we raise awareness and do what we can to support a small local charity or rescue. We believe in working together to benefit not only our wildlife but people and their families too.

Rehabilitation and Release

We work closely with vets and other rehabbers across the country and have successfully rehabilitated and released many wild animals over the years.

Sanctuary

We provide sanctuary for many animals where owners can no longer look after their pets.

Supporting the community

We are passionate about working with our community, so every month we select a small local charity or rescue. We raise awareness and provide support for them.

Reunite

We provide a safe haven for small animals who are lost and work with pet lost and found sites to track down owners.

Rehoming

Animals come into us for a variety of different reasons. We help people to find their animals a suitable permanent and loving home.

“This lady came out and collected an injured pigeon that my daughter found. Very good communication, kept me updated with everything she was planning. Pigeon is alive and well, and will be released shortly. Well recommended, very friendly and knowledgeable. ”
